Submissions

If you are a young Anglican (18-40) anywhere in the world, we want to receive your submissions for our 2022-2023 publication cycle on the following themes:

Why Am I An Anglican? (Submission deadline 1st July 2022 for publication from August 2022)

  • Personal and collective histories
  • Defining Anglicanism
  • Marginal/ised identities
  • Hope for the future

Conflict and Forgiveness (Submission deadline 1st November 2022 for publication from December 2022)

  • Peacemaking and reconciliation
  • Faith in wartime
  • Friendship
  • Conflict in the communion

Women’s Voices (Submission deadline 1st March 2023 for publication from April 2023)

  • Relational and personal stories
  • Gender based violence
  • Abuse & the Church
  • The witness of Anglican women

You can submit your piece at younganglicantheology@gmail.com or using the mailing address listed on the Contact Us page. You are welcome to get in touch with either an idea or a full submission, and our editors will work with you to help you develop your piece. We are currently able to publish contributions in English, Spanish, or Portuguese,* and we welcome submissions in the following formats:

  • Short essay or blog post (800 – 1500 words)
  • Poem/other creative writing
  • Video recording (must be sent as a downloadable video file)
  • Art piece (must be sent as a high quality photograph or scan)
